Terms and procedures for legalizations

Terms of legalization are directly related to the Services, through which the document passes. The slowest are the terms for the educational documents, since the Ministry of Education does not provide express services. Documents that are sent to this Ministry, stay there for at least 5 work days. That's why the procedure has to be started as early as possible. The other Ministries and Departments offer services for one ot three days.

Basic steps

1.Prepare you documents for legalization: you need to make sure there are all the seals and signatures of the respective officials present on the document and that it is in a state which is appropriate for legalization. You also need to know if the country in which you intend to use the document requires an appostile.

2.In order to legalize the documents, they have to be translated from a certified translator, who can verify the translation with his/her signature.

3 .You have to buy state tax stamps, depending on the terms of legalization in the Consular Department. You need to be very careful when placing them on the document, because there must be enough space left for the authentifications.

4.The translated documents which are combined with the original and legalized in the respective Ministry, are then described and submitted in the Consular Department for a final authentification of the translator's signature and for an appostile if such is needed.

We can do all this insted of you, because every day we help our clients all over the country with the translations and legalizations of their documents and we are very well acquainted with all the procedures that need to be done.
